USER I.D. & PASSWORD

Due to security concerns with the use of social security numbers, the login screen will now require you to enter your System I.D. number from your State of Michigan License. If you do not know your number, click on the link below:

Individual Producer - http://www.cis.state.mi.us/fis/ind_srch/ins_agnt/insurance_agent_criteria.asp

Individual Producers
We strongly encourage you to log in as an individual so you can create your own unique password. If you forget your password and request a reset, the password is sent to the email address we have on file for you. Please make sure that you have notified our office of your current email address.

Agencies
If you choose to use one System I.D. number for everyone in your agency (not recommended), the single password you create must be shared with your staff personnel, and redistributed each time the current password expires. If someone from your staff forgets the agency password and requests a reset, it is sent to the email address on file for your agency. Please make sure you have notified our office of your current agency email address. To supply the email address for each licensed producer in your office please complete and submit form at the link below.

NOTE: For data security reasons, MAIPF staff will NOT have access to your password.

TIPS for Creating Passwords

    • If you are asked if you want to save your password, click No.
    • Passwords must be 7 to 15 characters in length
    • Passwords must contain at least one number and one letter (mixed upper and lower case with numbers is best for tighter security)
    • Passwords will expire every six months.
    • Passwords are case sensitive.
    • You should keep this password safe and for your use only.

The System I.D. number will also appear on applications that are submitted through EARS. When you submit applications by mail you should now start using your System I.D. number on the application (front and back).
