Customized Vans/Pickup Trucks with Caps or Camper Bodies (Rule 20C) -- An auto that is used primarily for daily transportation that has external or internal modifications that increases the value of the auto beyond the normal manufacturer’s retail price. Rate in accordance with Rule 29.

Motor Homes (Rule 20D) -- A motor home is a self-propelled auto with a living area that is an integral part of the auto chassis. The living area must consist of facilities for cooking and sleeping. Rate in accordance with Rule 29.

Rule 29. MOTOR HOMES, CUSTOMIZED VANS, AND PICKUP TRUCKS WITH CAPS OR CAMPER BODIES

A. Determine the rating territory (Rule 50).

B. For all coverages other than physical damage rate as private passenger autos (Rule 21). 

C. Physical Damage Coverage

Note: The maximum loss payable for a cap or camper body is $25,000.

1. Assign a symbol based on the Original Cost New of the motor home, pickup with cap or camper body, or customized van, including all modifications, using the Price/Symbol Chart located in the reference pages of the S&I Manual or in the Private Passenger Rating Section (R-14).

2. Using the above symbol, rate in accordance with Rule 21.
